ISOMER’s Community Hall is situated behind the mosque. It is a multi-purpose hall that is used for classes and events, and hired out for private functions.
The Community Hall seats approximately 140 people for a sit down dinner. It can accommodate more for lecture style seating. The hall has a fully functional kitchen enabling hirers to prepare or warm up food for functions. However guests need to use the mosque’s toilets and car park.
Can I hire the hall?
The hall is available for hire to all, providing that the hirer abides by the hall hire terms and conditions, including:
No unlawful or unsafe activities on the premises.
No consumption or sale of alcohol on the premises.
No music on the premises.
No activities that are not in the best interests of the Society.
What does it cost to hire the hall?
The Hall Hire Fees are $150 per day. A deposit of $75 (non-refundable) is payable immediately, upon booking the hall. The remainder of the hire fees is payable 14 days, before the hire period. Non-payment of the fees may result in cancellation of the booking.
In addition, the hirer is required to pay a bond of $100. The bond is payable upon booking the hall and it will be refunded after the hall inspection, less any deductions taken for cleaning or damages.
How do I hire the Community Hall?
Booking the hall takes 4 simple steps:
1. Complete the Hall Hire Form.
2. Confirm the hall availability with ISOMER.
3. Pay the deposit and bond to ISOMER.
4. Pay the balance of the hall hire fees, at least 14 days before the hire period.
