ISOMER welcomes volunteers to assist in creating a united, multicultural, Muslim community.
If you are interested in becoming an active member of our community and you would like to contribute, there are many opportunities to volunteer. The volunteer work depends on you: your skills, interests and time. You can volunteer on a regular basis or whenever you are free.

Professional Service Volunteers
Give a little of your time to save us money.
By performing professional services on a volunteer basis, you not only save ISOMER administration costs, but allow us to dedicate more funds to the mosque’s running costs and assist charities. So, give a little of your time and together we can help more people.

Working Bee Volunteers
Give a little of your time to maintain your mosque.
Cleaning and maintaining the mosque is the responsibility of all those who use it. As ISOMER’s membership fees are insufficient to cover the mosque’s maintenance cost, we encourage those attending the mosque to contribute towards its upkeep and maintenance through donations and Working Bees.
Working Bees are coordinated whenever the mosque requires maintenance work and extensive gardening. The date for the Working Bees will be announced at Jumma prayers.
Volunteer work may include:
1- Cleaning
2- Gardening
3- Painting
4- Carpentry work
5- Plumbing &
6- Electrical work
7- Technology
